Stuffed Baked Potatoes

I promised y’all these last week and totally forgot to post the recipe. Welcome to My Man’s world. My bad!

MM saw these on Youtube done on the grill. It was really hot on the 4th of July, so we did them inside in the oven. They turned out really well. I want to try these on the grill soon!

What You Will Need

  • Baking potatoes
  • Cheese shredded or cubed
  • Bacon bits, ham, turkey, whatever meat you like on potatoes.
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper and any other spices you may like

Using an apple corer core the potatoes. My Man had to do this for me.

My hand is in the picture for looks.

Don’t throw the core away.

You can see all the way through!!

I cut off the end of the core to use as a plug.

 Plug.

Put some butter in the hole. Softened butter works well.

Put in some cheese.

I used my finger to pack it in there. Make sure you hold the plug in place!

Add some bacon bits and pack down.

Stuff in more cheese…

and butter.

Put in the other plug. My butter squished out.

My Man wrapped cubed cheese with a slice of ham. He put some butter in first, then the ham & cheese then more butter and plugged. We were gonna wrap the potato in bacon slices, but we forgot to buy it. Gonna try that next time when we grill them.

I sprayed my potatoes with cooling spray.

Wrap in alumina foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Grill for 1 to 1 1/2 hour on a grill at 375 – 400 degrees.

When done salt and pepper to taste. Use other spices if you like.

Hearing from you makes my day!
