Taco Bake

I love finding a new favorite recipe. This is one of those “why didn’t I think of that?” recipes. Mainly, because I’m not creative that way. I can tweak a craft, but when it come to recipes, I simply follow the directions.

I found the recipe on Pinterest which lead me to this website. I thank them for sharing and now I am sharing it with you. Mine is slightly different in that I left a couple of ingredients out.

Enjoy!!!

and taco seasoning.

IMG_8725 Stir together and let simmer while you,

IMG_8726  In a glass 9 x 13 inch baking dish, press out crescent rolls and roll them to form crust. I didn’t show closing the seams and pressing it up the sides some. You need to do this.

IMG_8727 Pour the mixture on top of the crescent rolls. My picture is some what steamy!

IMG_8730 Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. I used cheddar and a Mexican mix.

IMG_8732Crush some of the Doritos and sprinkle them on top. This took just about the whole bag. Of course I ate some too!

IMG_8733I covered the top with Doritos.

IMG_8734Look at those yummy layers!!!

Oh! Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

IMG_8735The Doritos get nice ans toasty!

Great with a side salad!!
