Crescent Cinnamon Rolls

I found this recipe on Pinterest. Very unusual, right?

I made it for breakfast before church, so I got somewhat sidetracked and didn’t finish getting all the photos. Don’t let that stop you from trying these yummy rolls. I got the pictures that are most important!

While I was making these I thought about how sweet they were going to be then I started singing “One day at a time, Sweet Jesus.” Maybe I should call them “Sweet Jesus Rolls.” Naw, nothing is as sweet as Jesus.

Whatcha Need

I had lots of people here that day, so I doubled the recipe. I’m giving you the amounts for one can.

  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 5 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • splash of milk (maybe a teaspoon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Putting It All Together

Separate and roll out crescent rolls on a greased pan.

In a bowl, mix butter (softened),

 and cinnamon

 with a fork until

Spread onto rolls.

Roll up crescent rolls so tip is on the bottom. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Here’s where I got in a hurry and got no more pictures.

In a bowl mix the powdered sugar with just enough milk and vanilla to make it like syrup. It really doesn’t take much milk at all. If it is too “watery” just add more sugar.

Using a spoon, drizzle glaze over baked rolls. Now, I wish I did have a picture of this.
