Crock Pot Steak & Veges

Crock Pot Steak and Veges

This has got to be one of the easiest meals known to mankind!

Seriously!

EASIEST!

Not to mention absolutely delicious and filling.

My Man loves it. I think it is his new favorite meal, because he keeps asking for it. He also went to the grocery store  and brought home a steak he saw on sale. He was so disappointed when I told him it was too late in the day to start it. :(

It’s just me and MM at home now so the recipe below is for two.

Whatcha Need

  • 1 Beef Boneless Top Sirloin (mine was about a pound and it was frozen. Yes, frozen!)
  • Potatoes (1 for each person…unless they are really big potatoes. I have some huge ones!
  • Carrots
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Water

Putting It All Together

Crock Pot Steak & VegesCube the potatoes and place in crock pot. Peel them if you want.

I was kind of lazy and didn’t want to peel them.

You don’t ever get that way do you? Lazy? Naw! Not you!

Crock Pot Steak & VegesCut the carrots into bite-size pieces and add to the pot! You could add some onions too!

Salt and pepper to taste, then sprinkle some Italian Seasoning all over!

Crock Pot Steak and VegesAdd just enough water to barely cover the bottom. Ya don’t want to drown the veges.

Crock Pot Steak and VegesLay the steak on top. Put the lid on the crock pot, turn it on low and leave it alone for 10 hours. Cook yours for 8 hours if the meat isn’t frozen.

Every time I type “frozen” I think of the movie and the song “Let It Go.”

“The cold never bothered me anyway.”

Now it’s stuck in your head too!

Crock Pot Steak and VegesI could barely get the steak out of the pot because it was falling apart. It is so tender you won’t even need a knife! For MM and myself, I cut the steak in half. It was plenty for us!

Here’s a great tip! If you can make it to your local grocery store early in the morning, like right when they open up, you can find several different kinds of meat “Reduced for Quick Sale.” It’s meat they cut the day before and didn’t sale. There is nothing wrong with it. I go about once a month and buy meat this way. My freezer is stocked well with good meats! Which is why my steak started out frozen. (“Let it go, let it go”) Sorry!

Enjoy!

Sounds like a winner! I really need to replace my crockpot that my hubby dropped and broke. I’ve been wanting a new one anyway. I’ve had that one for over 30 years! Thank you for sharing at What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Have a lovely week! ~Deborah
