Yesterday and Facebook

Yesterday was Youth Sunday at our church. The Praise Band from Lexington Baptist lead worship, the Youth from Clouds Creek Baptist, where Dillon goes, did a powerful skit and our Youth minister taught the service. I wanted to share the skit with you today, but I need to figure out how to upload videos on WordPress. Let me rephrase that. I need to get My Man to figure out how to do that, then teach me.

If you know how will you please tell me in the comments. Is there a plugin I need to get?

Until then, I want to remind you that you can follow me both on Facebook and Twitter. I don’t really tweet much, except to post what I blogged for the day. But, on Facebook I try to post pictures of decorating ideas or recipes I find on the internet.

Ok, what I find on Pinterest. You can follow me there, too.

I shared this today.

pallet and jarsI like pallets and Mason jars. Here’s a way to use both for storage and organization. You could use this in any room.

So, what is everyone doing today?

Me? I have some orders to sew for Over the Fence. Then I’m going to clean something. Not sure what, yet. I have so much to choose from. Oh, I need to make some Cheerio Treats for Dillon.

Ok, this post isn’t very inspirational, but it is my life. I did think of a saying today.

“Today, I am going to take one step of obedience at a time. Otherwise, I might trip over my own two feet.”

My devotional was about being satisfied with now, with where I am in life. Not worrying about the future or regretting the past. All I have is today and I’m going to work with it and enjoy it.  Matthew 6:25-34. Very familiar for many of us, but always a wonderful reminder.

Random, today, I  know. I get that way from time to time. Thank you for letting me be random.

Enjoy this Monday. Be obedient one step at a time today. Visit me on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. And if you know how to upload a video, please help me out.

Love ya!

Jayne

  1. Your blogs are always so interesting. I may not always comment, but I click the imaginary “like” button on every post. :)
